Job description

Standard Job Description The candidate will participate as a Systems Engineering (SE) member of the System Architecture team in a multidiscipline team environment. The System Architecture team contributes to the total engineering lifecycle from specification, design development, integration and test, deployment, maintenance and field trouble shooting for large scale, high complexity naval combat and platform systems. The candidate will participate in engineering activities including, but not limited to: Collaborating on system design activities with senior systems engineering and other engineering staff, including supporting technical reviews Performing requirements analysis and traceability via the system model Reviewing requirements, requirements allocation and trade studies Performing system architecture modelling and design, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Developing automation for MBSE processes Managing and implementing changes to the system design Design documentation Following systems engineering processes and best practices.

Basic Qualifications Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field Candidate must be available for four (4) months, full-time as of January 2027 Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner. Desired Skills Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy Have a high learning ability Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment Experience with Agile methods Basic programming knowledge and/or experience using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
