Job description

Overview

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Leader in Power Delivery to expand our presence in the industry! Based in Sacramento, CA, the ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a broad understanding of engineering, design, and specifications of power systems for utility transmission and distribution projects.

Leadership responsibilities include: operating with integrity and sound business principles, providing practice vision, business planning, and strategy, establishing goals, building and maintaining positive client relationships, open communication with partners and team, and growing and directing a Power Delivery Practice.

Qualifications
  • BSEE
  • Registered Engineer
  • 10+ years of power utility experience (substation design/delivery)
  • Focused experience with power delivery design is preferred
  • Diverse understanding of grid integration, high voltage substations, transmission lines, medium voltage utility distribution systems, SCADA, and/or low voltage industrial and commercial distribution systems.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel (as required) for business needs

Base Salary Range

  • $150,000 - $210,000
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
