About the Role 

As a Structural Designer I, you’ll join our growing structural engineering team in an entry-level drafting role. Working under close supervision, you’ll learn to produce structural drawings, models, and details that support our renewable energy projects across solar (PV), battery storage (BESS), and high-voltage (HV).

What You'll Do:
  • Use Autodesk products to prepare and revise structural construction drawings and details — plan views, sections, elevations, and details — under close supervision. 

  • Assist with drafting and detailing foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures. 

  • Help compile foundation bills of material (BOMs) and quantity takeoffs, coordinating with the civil design team. 

  • Work with structural engineers and senior designers to incorporate markups and revisions accurately. 

  • Follow applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards on assigned drawings. 

  • Learn and follow CAD standards, templates, and file and revision control.
