Description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Make Ready Technician to help maintain the interior standards of our apartments and prepare welcoming homes for new residents at our Fort Worth property. You'll work closely with the Service Manager to complete make-ready tasks, support the maintenance team, and ensure every apartment is move-in ready. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hands-on work, enjoys problem-solving, and delivers a high-quality resident experience.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare Apartments for Move-In
Complete all make-ready checklists for units, ensuring every apartment meets KV standards before resident move-in
Perform repairs and improvements including window blinds, sheetrock repair, caulking, painting, plumbing touch-ups, lighting, and basic appliance work.
Submit completed make-ready checklists and all required documentation to the Service Manager.
Support Maintenance Operations
Accept service requests from the work-order log and complete tasks promptly and thoroughly.
Assist with preventative maintenance and special projects as assigned.
Maintain Community Standards
Support upkeep of grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure washing breezeways and pool areas, painting curbs/signs/exteriors, and general cleaning as needed.
Inspect units and report any maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
Support the Team & Other Properties
Assist sister properties as requested to maintain consistency in quality and service.
Maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude at all times while providing excellent customer service.
Resident Communications
Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed, ensuring information is delivered accurately and promptly.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Make Ready Technician.
Hands-on skills in plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
Renovation experience preferred.
EPA Section 608 (Type II or Universal) Certification preferred or must obtain within 90 days.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
Must own personal tools
Must have the ability to work on-call after hours for emergencies.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
