Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role supports the administration, auditing, and analysis of employee benefits programs while ensuring data accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong communication and employee relations skills, excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Audit employee benefits data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform regular data validation and reconciliation between HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and documentation.
  • Generate reports and analyze benefits data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Support open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Assist with vendor invoicing, eligibility audits, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and external benefits vendors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in answering employee questions related to benefits plans and escalating as needed.
  • Assist in tracking leave of absence and workers compensation cases.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, including AI tools, and apply them to improve efficiency, organize information, support documentation, and streamline routine tasks.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing timely, courteous, and accurate support while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS or benefits administration systems is a plus.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
