Job description

a.i. solutions is searching for a highly motivated Test Configuration Verification Quality Assurance Analyst who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance (QS) Directorate implementing quality and mission assurance requirements by providing technical verifications of Developer Testing for subcomponents, assemblies, and integrated systems associated with MDA programs.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Track and confirm configuration of system test participants.
  • Identify test configuration items, monitor change control, implement configuration status tracking and accounting, and conduct configuration verification in support of system tests.
  • Work with test teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines in support of system tests.
  • Develop, review, or modify instructions, plans, policies, and procedures governing the configuration management, test event certification, test configuration lockdown, and recording, tracking and monitoring of test observations/deviations.
  • Review and report on problems and changes to the system test documentations, standard operating procedures, and current test configurations for completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
  • Develop and coordinate system test event certification checklist, collect required checklist documentation, and verify test participant configuration as required.
  • Provide weekly status reports on activities and issues of concern.
  • Travel periodically

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS Degree, and a minimum 5 years of experience performing Configuration Management.
      • Acceptable substitute a minimum 10 years of experience as a quality analyst or configuration management specialist.
    • Experience in complex weapon system development, production, and system level testing.
    • Experience in auditing, inspecting, and assessing hardware and software configurations during all phases of end item system tests.
    • Experience in reviewing and reporting on compliance with and changes to the system test documentations, standard operating procedures, and current test configurations for completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
    • Security Clearance requirements: Secret
