Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our dynamic Labor and Benefits team. As an Audit Manager at Weaver, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients across all stages of the audit process, while fostering the professional growth of Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors through mentorship and training. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with firm leadership, actively contributing to business development initiatives and supporting key firm administration functions. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
  • Experience working with complex employee benefit plans (e.g.,multi-employer, defined-benefit and defined-contribution, health & welfare, etc.) as well as labor unions and non-profit audits
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Senior Associates and Associates

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Weaver Compensation and Benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. We take the time to evaluate our employees' wants and needs and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
