What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The main function for the Aesthetics Maintenance Tech will be to perform preventive maintenance on guestrooms and public spaces. This includes, but is not limited to, painting walls and ceilings, furniture touch up and repairs, changing light bulbs, diagnosing, and repairing plumbing issues as well as diagnosing and repairing minor electrical issues. The Tech will also be responsible for tasks such as building rounds, light checks, meter readings and other entry level maintenance needs.
Status: Full-Time
Availability: 1st or 2nd shift
Payrate: $19.30 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Performs preventative maintenance on guest contact areas of the hotel including guest rooms, meeting rooms, ballrooms, public areas, restaurants, outdoor areas and more.
  • Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists. Reports on and corrects noted problems.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
  • Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
  • Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.
  • Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience using hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
  • Basic maintenance experience such as minor repairs and painting preferred.
  • Must have a desire to learn new building maintenance skills.
