TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404!

Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
  • Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as multi-level spine surgeries
  • Operate and manage unit-specific equipment including CPMs, SCDs, coolers, and walkers
  • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
  • Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and navigators to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
  • Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participate in unit rotation floating policy
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a strong ortho background
  • Demonstrated compassion and teamwork skills
  • Ability to meet a patient experience benchmark of 72%
  • Compliance with required dress code: navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in an orthopedic or spine surgical unit setting
  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
  • Experience with post-operative care for joint replacement and spinal surgery patients
