The Body Technician is responsible for performing metal straightening, plastic finish work, and structural repairs, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. This role requires the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of body and structural damage under the guidance of senior technicians. The technician is expected to maintain a positive attitude, contribute to team goals, and pursue ongoing training and development.


We are seeking a skilled OEM Body Technician to join our quality-first team delivering uncompromising collision repairs.


Pay: $26.00-$32.00/flat rate

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in person

Requirements:
  • Perform vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturers, OEM, and industry standards while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
  • Support efficient production workflow by following repair plans, coordinating with team members, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of work.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and compliant work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment and adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
  • Collaborate with and learn from senior technicians, applying best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Pursue and maintain required certifications and training to stay current with evolving technologies and repair standards.

Qualifications

  • I-CAR certification and ASE certification required; additional requirements a plus
  • 2–4 years of collision repair experience required
  • Experience with structural and aluminum repair preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturer-certified collision center is a plus
  • Working knowledge of steel and aluminum repair, welding, riveting, and bonding techniques
  • OEM certifications (JLR, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or equivalent) are a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with measuring and bench setup equipment preferred (e.g., Spanesi, Celette)
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varied positions for extended periods; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; and safely operate tools and equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and luxury vehicles
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and hold a valid driver's license.
