Job description

Job Summary: South Sioux City Marriott is looking for a full time Bellperson to provide quality service, and hospitality by transporting guests to and from the hotel in a timely and safe manner. They will assist guests in an efficient and courteous manner.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and escort guests upon arrival.
  • Facilitate prompt guest check-out procedures by assisting guests with luggage.
  • Drive to destination(s) to give guests a rides.
  • Wash and clean the interior of the van, as needed.
  • Communicate to the supervisor any mechanical malfunctions of the van.
  • Assist at the front entrance with general cleaning while waiting for scheduled van shuttles.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Experience: Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record as outlined by our motor vehicle insurance company. Any violations received while not on duty may affect your insurability and employment at the hotel.
  • Possess interpersonal skills; should be friendly and outgoing.
  • Sit and drive a van for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
