Overview:

Come join Team Atlantis! We are currently accepting application for Hotel Guest Service Representative. Guest Service Representative is responsible for all activity involving Hotel guest check-in/check-out. They must provide further guest service by accurately taking and relaying guests' requests to other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Valet, Security, Concierge, VIP Services, etc. Other departmental duties. All with a smile on their face!

Responsibilities:

  • Raise and maintain Atlantis Guest Service skills to establish four-star standards
  • Increase Hotel revenue through commissionable opportunities
  • Work in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintains a polite and professional demeanor at all times
  • Retrieve reservations in the computer, verifying special requests and accommodations, programming room keys, completing and filing registration cards, calculating room charges, making approved changes to guests' accounts, and collecting payment for all charges incurred
  • Handling guests' mail, recording guests' comments, and restocking supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications:

  • Must also be able to handle large amounts of currency accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion
  • Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
