Responsibilities

Postion: Bellman/Valet

Pay Rate: 10.98 + tips

Location: LAGO MAR BEACH RESORT & CLUB. Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Availability: Must have flexible availability, with a strong preference for candidates available for PM shifts and weekends

Basic Function: We are seeking a service-oriented Bellman/Valet to join our team. In this role, you will provide a seamless arrival and departure experience by assisting guests with luggage transportation and escorting them to their rooms in a professional and friendly manner. Your primary goal is to ensure the safety of guest belongings and deliver top-tier hospitality from the moment they arrive until they depart.

Requirements
  • Customer Service: Previous experience in customer service is a plus.

  • Communication: Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers, and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.

  • Basic Skills: Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and to comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.

  • Adaptability: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.

  • Availability: Flexibility to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends


Qualifications

Basic Function: We are seeking a service-oriented Bellman/Valet to join our team. Your primary goal is to ensure the safety of guest belongings and deliver top-tier hospitality from the moment they arrive until they depart.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Valet is a plus.

  • Driving Skills: The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.

  • License & Records: Must have a valid state driver’s license, a current address, and an acceptable driving record.

  • Work Authorization: Must provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (valid documentation required if hired).

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Physical Activity: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, talk, and listen. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Outdoor Conditions: Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

  • Safety: Must be safety-conscious at all times while working in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations.

  • Environment: Regular exposure to high levels of noise and/or vehicle fumes
