Positions in our kitchen require employees to be at least 16 years old.
Work in the Heart of the House at Chick-fil-A

Our guests enjoying their meal at Chick-fil-A begins in the kitchen, with our awesome people working \behind the scenes\ in what we call our Heart of the House, our kitchen. If you love being physical in your work while enjoying coordinating with excellent teammates in a fun, respectful, upbeat and fast environment this may be a terrific job for you!

No food or kitchen experience is required. We provide complete paid training.

  • Non-smoking property. We do not give smoke breaks.

  • No drugs tolerated. All employees must comply with a drug test upon request.

We have found that athletes, musicians, video game players, cooks & bakers and anyone who enjoys using their hands typically thrives in our kitchen. We are a high volume restaurant and we work very quickly!

Schedules available:

  • We require a minimum of 3 shifts / week
  • We are closed every Sunday
  • We are typically able to create work schedules around your commitments
  • Flexibility on asking for days off (with 2 weeks advanced notice)
  • Flexibility with some short-notice requests for days off (IF you get someone on the team to take your shift)
  • Every employee may designate two Saturdays per month as a guaranteed Saturday off

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Become knowledgeable of the assignments for all nine kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembly and cold food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
