Job description

* Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Apex Therapy Services *

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral support services for clients in a residential atmosphere, across the lifespan. BCBAs will provide consultation and guidance to clients, caregivers, and team members; develop comprehensive treatment plans; supervise staff; and promote best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The residences home will be located in the Wayne County area.

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments.ย 
  • Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP Supervise and train ABA Technicians.ย 
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform treatment decisions.ย 
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.ย 
  • Communicate effectively with funding sources and maintain accurate documentation.ย 
  • Ensure ethical and legal compliance in all aspects of service delivery.ย 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in crisis prevention and intervention strategies.ย 
  • Stay up to date with current research and maintain certification requirements.ย 

What We're Looking For: Required:ย 

  • Current certification as a BCBA/BCBA-D (BACB) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Michigan.ย 
  • Master's or doctoral degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.ย 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.ย 
  • Ability to work flexibly in various settings and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.ย 

Preferred:ย 

  • Three (3) or more years' experience as a BCBA.ย 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related disabilities.ย 
  • Experience supervising ABA Behavior Technicians, and/or BCBA/BCaBA graduate/practicum students.ย 
  • Background working in multiple environments, including homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.ย
