Job Description
We are in urgent need of a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to patients in a level III trauma center. The successful candidate will support the clinical staff by delivering high-quality nursing care to patients dealing with mental health issues, including but not limited to Alzheimer's, behavioral disturbances, depression, and suicidal ideation.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide direct patient care.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patient progress.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active RN license in Tennessee.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Psychiatric nursing experience required; geriatric psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
