Job description

Behavioral Health Pharmacist

Location: Kalamazoo, MI Area

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for an ongoing behavioral health hospital assignment in the Kalamazoo, MI area. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist seeking a consistent weekly schedule within an inpatient behavioral health setting.

Assignment Details

  • Start: June 2026
  • Duration: Ongoing coverage
  • Schedule: Fridays preferred
  • Hours: On-call 5:00am–8:00am, onsite 8:00am–4:30pm, then on-call until 7:30pm
  • Mondays may be considered if Fridays are unavailable

Requirements

  • Active Michigan Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Inpatient hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with HCS preferred
  • Experience with Med-Dispense preferred

Responsibilities

  • Medication order verification
  • Medication dispensing and distribution
  • Inventory management and medication stocking
  • Support daily pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
