What You'll Do

As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care across multiple facility settings, including:

  • Delivering psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult and geriatric patients
  • Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and dementia-related conditions
  • Performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing
  • Prescribing medications and adjusting treatment plans as clinically indicated
  • Managing a patient panel of approximately 16 patients per day across multiple sites
  • Collaborating closely with physicians, care teams, and facility staff
  • Participating in clinical team meetings and care coordination discussions
  • Ensuring accurate, timely documentation and billing compliance
  • Applying strong clinical judgment in both routine and complex situations
What You Bring
  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills in behavioral health
