Job Type: Full Time 

Job Description:  

  • Provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for all nursing and patient care functions. 

  • Assists with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units. 

  • Holds 24/7 responsibility for assigned departments or service areas. 

  • Ensures high-quality, safe, and effective patient care while managing clinical staff competency and resource utilization. 

  • Acts as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Must have an active RN license in the state of practice. 

  • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proven ability to manage hospital operations effectively. 

  • Promotes teamwork and professional development among staff nurses. 

Qualifications  

  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) + Bachelor’s in a healthcare-related field OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 

  • Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s in a healthcare-related field. 

Experience:  

Required 

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience (as a Manager or Charge Nurse) in a hospital setting. 

  • Minimum 2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health experience. 

Certifications: 

Required: 

  • Active RN license (state-specific). 

  • CPR certification.
