Job description

MUST be able to communicate in French written & verbalData Analyst

We are seeking a curious, analytical, and proactive problem solver to help drive process improvement and operational efficiency across our organization.

The primary focus of this role is identifying trends, investigating root causes, improving processes, and eliminating unnecessary work. We are looking for someone who naturally asks why, takes ownership of issues, and is motivated to find better ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities
  • Investigate root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Analyze data from daily reports on closed tickets and workflows to improve operational efficiency
  • Research and resolve complex or unfamiliar issues
  • Document findings, recommendations, and process changes
  • Collaborate with business partners to streamline and simplify work
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with process improvement or operational support
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Self-motivated, curious, and adaptable
  • Ability to work independently and through ambiguity
  • SQL experience preferred, but not required

What We're Looking For

We're less interested in what's on a résumé and more interested in how a candidate thinks. The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Identifies patterns and trends
  • Asks questions and challenges inefficient processes
  • Takes ownership and follows issues through resolution
  • Continuously looks for ways to improve the business
  • Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, and initiative

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating problems, improving processes, and creating lasting operational improvements rather than simply completing tasks.

Required Screening Questions:

In addition to the technical qualifications, I would like the screening process to focus heavily on the candidate's mindset and approach to problem-solving. I'm less interested in what is on their résumé and more interested in how they think. Everything we do in this role can be taught; what I'm looking for are individuals who naturally identify trends, ask questions, investigate issues, take ownership, and look for ways to improve processes.

To help identify candidates who fit this profile, I'd like recruiters to use the following pre-screen questions (Answers to these questions will determine interview selection):

1. Tell me about a time you made your job easier, better, or more efficient without being asked.

2. If you had to handle the same issue or ticket repeatedly throughout the week, what would be going through your mind?

3. You receive a problem you've never seen before and your manager isn't available. What's your next step?
