Job Overview

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

Responsibilities

- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

- Collect data on client behavior during sessions

- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
