Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Summary: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for assessing, developing, and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges. The BCBA provides supervision to behavior technicians/registered behavior technicians (RBTs) and collaborates with families, educators, and other professionals to promote skill acquisition, independence, and positive behavior change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
  • Oversee and monitor data collection to ensure accurate tracking of progress.
  • Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as needed.
  • Supervise and train RBTs and other staff in ABA principles and implementation.
