Job description

This position reports directly to the Director - Government Affairs in the Government Affairs Department. Candidate will assist in the preparation of presentations and reports, as well as participate in the planning and execution of department functions. The candidate will support the Government Affairs team in promoting and monitoring public policy that impacts Delta and the aviation industry.

The candidate will perform extensive research and analysis that will focus on transportation policy, and compile and report on data determined by the field and scope of the assignment/project to aid the Government Affairs staff. Assignments are completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner while ensuring the methods conform to company standards. Candidate practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
