Job description

US Citizenship

MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with digital signal processing and communications experience.

Job Summary

Perform embedded system design, simulation, and implementation on Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. Specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Implementing, debugging, and testing system prototypes on software-defined radio (SDR) platforms, including implementation of algorithms on embedded processors.
  • Writing design documents, simulation reports, and system documents.
  • Participating in technical business development activities, including meeting with prospective customers, developing technical concept studies, and contributing to new business proposals.
Requirements
  • Proficient in C/C++.
  • In-depth understanding of wireless communications.
  • Experience with digital signal processing design and implementation
  • ARM-based development experience
  • Hardware experience with Software Defined Radios
  • In-depth understanding and experience with wireless communications and networking (OSI model TCP/IP)
  • Proof of Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with USRPs and of the SDRs
  • Experience with FPGA
