Job description

Job Title

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly efficient, and professional manner:

  • Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at assigned pedestrian stations.
  • Monitor student activity on the playground before school, during lunch, or after school.
  • Responsible for taking minor disciplinary action against students when necessary and for reporting names of students who are discipline problems to the school principal or his/her designee.
  • Responsible for administering first aid to students and for reporting all injuries to the principal or his/her designee.
  • To do related work as required.
Details For This Position

  • Length Of Work Year: Student Year Employee Calendar *starting 2026/2027 school year
  • Worksite/Schedule: San Onofre School, located off the I-5, near San Clemente. 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday- Friday
  • Benefits: Benefit package includes, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • Requirements For Applying: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; no direct experience is required. Basic first aid knowledge is a requirement.

  • It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
