Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Site Supervisor for our Before School Program at Sargent Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.
If you love working with children, leading engaging activities, and being part of a positive, supportive team, you'll help shape a safe and fun environment where kids can grow and thrive.
LOCATION: Sargent Elementary School in Beacon, NY
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
PAY: $16.50 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:30 AM

Position Responsibilities
The Before School Program team is responsible for:
  • Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
  • Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
  • Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
  • Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
