As an Analyst I, you'll be a key support resource for the Business Services Section, helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll serve as a primary point of contact for operational requests, providing customer service while coordinating, routing, and tracking work from intake through completion.
You'll support a wide range of functions including workflow coordination, facilities and vendor support, onboarding/offboarding, badging, inventory and asset management, records management, and administrative operations. Using tools such as ServiceNow, FI$Cal, and C-Cure, you'll help connect staff with the resources they need and ensure requests are handled accurately and timely. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems and helping others, while making a meaningful contribution to the success of the department.

Working Conditions
At FI$Cal, we are compliant with the Governors executive order, N22-025, requiring staff to be in office 4 or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days and is subject to change. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, California 95815. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. This position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a personal computer. Our department develops, maintains and operates FI$Cal, the statewide financial system. The FI$Cal system modernized how the state of California manages its finances and is one of the largest and most dynamic IT and business-transformation undertakings in California's history.
