Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager printer operator to join their growing team!
The printer operator is responsible for safely operating printing equipment, performing quality inspections, completing setup and changeovers, and ensuring products meet company specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, quality-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate printing equipment while producing quality products that meet company specifications.
  • Verify proper setup of printing equipment before production begins.
  • Ensure all required tools are available and in good working condition (per Group 7 Tool List).
  • Perform label design changeovers and equipment setups as needed.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks throughout the production process.
  • Audit printer applications to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervision immediately.
  • Analyze production spoilage, document causes, and implement corrective actions when applicable.
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.
  • Ensure all machine guards, safety devices, and protective equipment are in place and functioning properly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing or production experience required.
