Injection Molding Technician


Openings available for multiple shifts. All experience levels considered.


Job Purpose:

Set Up plastic injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment as specified by Engineering. Troubleshoot process related problems as needed. Support the supervision of production associates.


Nature of Duties:

  • Machine & Mold Setup
  • Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and connect auxiliary equipment.
  • Process Monitoring & Adjustment
  • Monitor runs, make real-time adjustments to maintain quality, and document changes.
  • Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, molds, materials, or processes to prevent defects.
  • Quality Control
  • Inspect parts for defects, ensuring they meet internal and external standards.
  • Maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and report needed repairs on molds and equipment.
  • Safety & Housekeeping
  • Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout) and maintain a clean work area (5S).


Education and Experience:

  • Experience as a technician a plus
  • Must have a strong electrical aptitude with the ability to work with vendors and suppliers.
  • Strong and appropriate influencing skills and flexible work ethic is important.
