Location: Landover Hills, Maryland (Prince George#39;s County)

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging After-School STEM Instructors to lead fun and hands-on STEM enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Landover Hills, MD.

Whether you#39;re an experienced educator, STEM instructor, tutor, engineer, scientist, college student, or simply passionate about helping children learn through hands-on activities, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact.

Position Details

  • Part-time, after-school position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Afternoon after-school hours
  • 1.5-hour sessions
  • $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
  • No weekends
  • No lesson planning required

Responsibilities

  • Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervise groups of approximately 15โ€“25 students
  • Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Qualifications

  • STEM, teaching, tutoring, or youth-program experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interest or knowledge in STEM subjects
  • Comfortable working with students in grades Kโ€“5
  • Patient, positive, and able to explain concepts clearly
  • Reliable transportation to schools throughout Landover Hills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Must successfully complete the required Prince George#39;s County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
