Job description

Crosswell Elementary Student Work-Study Program: Library Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 30, 2027
The Library Assistant will support the daily operations of the school library by shelving books accurately, maintaining a clean and organized space, and assisting with general upkeep to create a welcoming environment for students. This role includes reading aloud to classes, helping foster a love of reading, and supporting students in locating and checking out materials. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working with children in a literacy-rich setting.
Requirements:
  • SDPC student at least 16 years old
  • Teacher recommendation
  • Checking account
  • TB Test

Background Check Includes National Sex Offender database and SLED, if applicable.
