West Side Beer Distributing is hiring for a Full-Time Warehouse Order Selector (Hand Stacker) in Romulus.
We're looking for a reliable Hand Stacker to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced, hands-on work and wants a stable position with consistent hours. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and like staying active throughout your shift, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: Romulus, MI
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am - 6:30pm (or until all trucks are loaded)
Compensation: Starting at $19.50 per hour + plus pick rate incentive
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

About the Role
As a Hand Stacker, you'll pick and prepare customer orders for next-day delivery using ride-on pallet jacks, scanners, and headsets in a temperature-controlled warehouse. You'll work independently to accurately select products, stack them on pallets, and keep your work area clean and organized while following safety procedures.​
What You’ll Do
  • Accurately pick customer orders for next-day delivery.
  • Operate stand-up ride-on pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Use scanners and headsets to follow pick paths and instructions.
  • Navigate a temperature-controlled warehouse to locate and select products.
  • Stack and organize products on pallets according to company standards.
  • Follow FIFO rotation and all warehouse safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and report any safety concerns.
  • Support overall warehouse operations by completing all required training.
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • 1–2 years warehouse or manual material handling experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and reliability
  • Commitment to safety and workplace integrity
  • Basic computer literacy
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, squatting, and reaching
  • Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment (protective gear provided)
