Job description

OtherSide Beverage is a regional wholesale alcohol distributor and we are looking to add a delivery driver. This role's sole focus is delivering kegs and cases of beer to retail accounts such as bars, restaurants, liquors stores, etc.

Note: This job is physically demanding, and requires ability to lift up to approximately 165 pounds. Driver must have reliable means of transportation to and from the warehouse, and will be expected to drive a company vehicle 8-10 hours a day across the customer and supplier territories. Customer account territory currently covers Washington D.C. and the states of Maryland and Delaware. Supplier pickups currently cover Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. (subject to change).

Experience delivering in the beverage industry is a major plus. Depending on the desired role, a CDL may be required. All applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, and will be subject to random DOT certified 5 panel drug tests as long as they are employed at the company. Responsibilities:

Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner

Pick up products from supplier locations in a timely manner

Accurately collect invoices and checks from customer locations

Maintain accurate inventory of product that is loaded on and off the truck each day

Maintain accurate driving logs

Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle

Qualifications:

Ability to handle physical workload and lift approximately 165 pounds

Experience in delivery driving, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry

Clean driving record and DOT health card

Attention to detail and Deadline-oriented

Above average customer service skills
