Job description

BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA), ESY BEEP POSITION OVERVIEW BCBAs will collaborate with school IEP teams to determine students' needs and to address generalization of skills across settings. BCBAs will also provide consultation to teachers and/or families as dictated in each student's IEP. Additionally, BCBAs will create behavior plans and ensure all staff implementing the plans are trained and supported. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Providing supervision and consultation to home-based ABA paraprofessionals
  • Developing and supervising home-based programming
  • Providing training and consultation to parents and guardians
  • Collaborating with school IEP teams to determine students' needs and to address generalization of skills across settings, conducting behavioral observations and FBAs when appropriate
  • Developing behavior support plans and ensure all staff members are appropriately trained
  • Consulting to one or more schools in Brookline in regard to students' behavioral needs
  • Developing data collection materials and analyze said data
  • Providing consultation and professional development to staff regarding best practices to promote positive behavior
  • Safety Care trained and/or willingness to be trained
  • Adapt as needed to changes in student and/or team response, available treatment locations, and educational activities
  • Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Massachusetts - Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) license required
Schedule:
  • July 8, 2024 - August 15, 2024
  • 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday - hours, site, ages and schedule dependent upon caseload
  • Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
  • Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
