Requirements
Basic Requirements:
  • One year forklift experience required.
  • Continuous sitting while operating forklift.
  • Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms while operating the forklift.
  • Frequent repetitive use of legs while operating the forklift.
  • Occasional mounting and dismounting the forklift.
  • Occasional pushing and pulling of carts and horses to clear pathways for the forklift.
  • Occasional walking while assisting the Line Loader.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of objects (components) up to 50 pounds.
  • Fast-paced plant operations environment.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to safety rules, procedures manual and policy manual.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Department Supervisor, Lead, Coworkers and other personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while working with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to read and follow a written set of procedures.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods, to sit and talk or hear.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Safety glasses are required PPE.
