Job description

Join Ace Outdoor Services as a full-time Certified Lawn Fertilization & Bed Spray Technician serving residential and commercial properties.

This position manages an assigned route using a company vehicle while providing professional fertilization, weed control, and lawn-care services.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Applicants must already hold active Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator certifications in all four areas:

• Commercial Core
• Category 3A – Turfgrass Pest Management
• Category 3B – Ornamental Pest Management
• Category 6 – Right-of-Way Pest Management

All four certifications are required. This is not a certification-training position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Apply liquid and granular fertilizers, herbicides, and approved turf and ornamental treatments
• Complete fertilization, weed control, pest-management, and aeration services
• Inspect lawns during each visit, identify concerns, and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate treatment, application, and route records
• Communicate with customers about services, lawn conditions, and expected results
• Safely handle materials and operate and maintain application equipment
• Keep the assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained
• Independently manage an assigned route and daily schedule
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Active Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator certifications in Core, 3A, 3B, and 6
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Strong organization, communication, and customer-service skills
• Ability to work safely and independently
• Pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results
