Bed Rest Job information

What are bed rest jobs?

Bed rest jobs are research positions where participants are paid to stay in bed for extended periods, often to help scientists study the effects of immobility on the human body, such as muscle atrophy or bone loss. These studies are commonly conducted by space agencies like NASA to simulate the effects of microgravity experienced by astronauts. Participants may undergo various medical tests and follow strict protocols during their stay. The compensation can be significant due to the demanding nature of the job. Bed rest jobs are suitable for those who meet specific health criteria and can commit to the entire study duration.
