Dietary Cook

Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility in historic downtown Leesburg, is seeking experienced and dependable Dietary Cooks to join our team. If you enjoy cooking with purpose and want to make a difference in residents’ daily lives, this is a great opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service

  • Follow standardized recipes and accommodate special dietary needs

  • Ensure food is served on time with excellent quality, taste, and presentation

  • Monitor food temperatures, portioning, and safety standards

  • Help oversee Dietary Assistants during meal preparation and service

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

  • Assist with inventory and ensure ingredients are ready for daily production

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a cook (healthcare or institutional setting preferred)

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines closely
