Certification in OSHA safety standards and experience with abrasive blasting tools are often preferred. Physical stamina and attention to detail are important for this role.

What are bead blasters?

Bead blasters are professionals who operate bead blasting equipment to clean, finish, or prepare surfaces by propelling fine beads or abrasive materials at high pressure. This process is commonly used to remove paint, rust, scale, or other contaminants from metal, glass, or plastic surfaces.
