Location: Freehold, NJ
Position: Automotive Sales Business Development Center (BDC) Representative
Company: Raceway Nissan & Jeep of Freehold

Schedule:

  • 11am-7pm during the week with one weekday off
  • 9am-6m Saturdays 


Raceway Nissan and Raceway Jeep of Freehold are looking for motivated, dependable, and
results-driven Sales BDC Representatives to join our growing team.


This is not a receptionist position. This is a performance-based role focused on responding to
customers, making outbound calls, setting appointments, confirming appointments, and creating
showroom traffic for both dealerships.


The right candidate is confident on the phone, organized, competitive, comfortable working
inside a CRM, and capable of handling a high volume of customer communication every day.


Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and professionally to internet leads, phone inquiries, online chats, and
    customer messages
  •  Make consistent outbound calls, texts, and emails to new and existing customers
  • Set, confirm, and follow up on sales appointments
  • Re-engage unsold customers, missed appointments, previous leads, and inactive
    prospects
  •  Perform customer retention and data-mining outreach
  •  Maintain accurate notes, tasks, appointments, and customer information in the CRM
  •  Work closely with sales managers and salespeople to improve appointment show and
    sold rates
  • Communicate current inventory, promotions, incentives, and dealership offers accurately
  • Meet established daily and monthly performance standards

BDC Representatives will be measured on:

  • Outbound call and communication activity
  • Lead response time
  • Appointments set
  • Appointments confirmed
  • Appointment show rate
  • Sold appointment rate
  • CRM accuracy and follow-up completion
  • Overall contribution to dealership traffic and sales


Qualifications

  • Previous automotive BDC, call center, customer service, or sales experience preferred
  • Automotive BDC experience is a strong plus
  • Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and follow-up tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable being coached and held accountable to performance standards
  • Experience with VinSolutions, Podium, Matador, or similar dealership technology is a
    plus
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
