Objective

The Inside Sales Representative (RSR-Inside) for our Retail business is the primary contact for many customers looking for equipment to purchase and add to their fleet. Whether it is over the phone or in one of our store locations, your objective is to provide New and Used equipment solutions to customers in need of Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) and Building Construction Product (BCP).

Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to new and existing customers via phone within your assigned region
  • Support any walk in customers on their needs
  • Interface with various internal members at MacAllister CAT to provide best in class support and service to our customers, with a collaborative "Team" approach
  • Input and maintain account database on all ongoing activities and completed business transaction
  • Continue to maintain relationships and equipment support post sales
  • Qualify leads as required and work with other sales departments to ensure leads are passed on in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a sales environment, with full understanding of the sales process
  • Interest in working in the industry, some prior knowledge of construction or heavy equipment would help
  • Strong ability to communicate with internal and external parties
  • Ability to provide a solution, and convert this to into a successful business transaction
  • Driven personality with hunger for success
  • A team player, willing to go the extra mile to support the team and the company
