Job description

Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Lead BCBA)

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Setting: Clinic-Based

Work Location: Jacksonville, IL

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain an assigned client caseload.

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical guidelines and ABA best practices.

  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Provide direct clinical support and consultation to clients and families.

Staff Development & Supervision

  • Mentor and supervise RBTs, BCBAs, trainees, and other clinical staff.

  • Support staff onboarding, training, and professional development.

  • Promote clinical excellence through coaching and ongoing feedback.

  • Utilize Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) principles to support team performance and operational success.

  • Assist with client onboarding and intake processes.

  • Support daily clinic operations and facility oversight.

  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and operational needs as required.

  • Collaborate with leadership on program development and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in community outreach, education, and relationship-building activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing.

  • Active state licensure (where applicable).

  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Minimum 3 years of post-certification ABA experience working with children and adolescents.

Preferred

  • Experience supervising and mentoring clinical staff.

  • Leadership or clinic management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies.

  • Understanding of insurance, funding source, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
