BCBA (BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST)

Laurel Heights Hospital is seeking a BCBA (BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST) (FULL-TIME). Join our talented team of professionals as we work to provide the most effective treatment utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Qualifications: Experience in a residential facility a plus

BCBA Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Conducts a minimum of 2 comprehensive assessments to identify the client's needs and goals. (FBA as needed)
  • Plan Development: Creates individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Supervision: Supervises RBTs, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support.
  • Data Analysis: Regularly reviews and analyzes data to measure client progress and adjust plans.
  • Collects graphed behavioral Data from RBT and interprets data for medical chart using Interpretive Data Document
  • Provide Weekly Parent Trainings and Document findings into medical Chart
  • Lead Treatment Team meetings with all updates
  • Weekly meetings with RBT and Social worker to collaborate on Treatment 3x weekly
  • Quarterly Fidelity Checks

Experience: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. Knowledge of special education practices and principles. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health. Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments. Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Minimum of a master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis Certified and maintain credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA in good standing.
