BBC Studios is a global content powerhouse, home to the world's most iconic brands and stories. Our mission is to connect audiences and advertisers through premium, trusted, and innovative media experiences.
For more than 100 years, the BBC has done something few media organizations can claim: explained the world clearly, consistently, and without agenda. That legacy is the foundation of everything we build.
BBC Studios is the commercial engine behind BBC's digital properties, spanning news, sport, and entertainment, partnering with world-class brands to reach one of the most globally minded, highly engaged audiences anywhere in media. We go beyond traditional publishing, operating as a multi-platform storytelling powerhouse that delivers context, perspective, and actionable insight at scale.
In a world of noise, we provide signal.
Job Purpose
This Account Director within the Enterprise Partnerships team will oversee a client list of enterprise-level brand relationships across North America, driving annual revenue through long-term, consultative partnerships. The role is designed for a proven seller who can navigate complex client organizations, identify cross-platform opportunities, and build integrated partnerships that span news, sport, and entertainment.
Why Join the Team
This is an opportunity to take part in the future of enterprise partnerships at a global media brand trusted by audiences and advertisers alike. You'll work with senior decision-makers at iconic brands and play a key role in BBC Studios' advertising business in North America while operating in a collaborative, high-performing commercial culture with clear pathways for growth.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
  • Own and lead a focused portfolio of high-value enterprise clients, delivering seven figure annual revenue through integrated, multi-platform partnerships.
  • Develop and execute long-term account strategies centered on renewals, expansion, and sustained enterprise growth.
  • Shift client relationships from transactional media buying to strategic, consultative enterprise partnerships.
  • Serve a commercial point of contact for enterprise clients, engaging senior leaders across marketing, brand, communications, and corporate functions.
  • Lead complex deal cycles including custom sponsorships, branded content, and bespoke integrated campaigns, ensuring opportunities are strategically scoped and flawlessly executed.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, identifying white-space opportunities aligned with business objectives and BBC Studios' trusted editorial brands and global reach.
  • Quarterback cross-functional internal teams across Partner Solutions, StoryWorks, Media Strategy, Research, Client Success, Legal, and Operations to deliver cohesive, scalable programs.

Knowledge, Skills Training and Experience
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of proven success driving enterprise-level revenue within premium media, digital publishing, or complex advertising environments.
  • Experience working with premium corporations and brands.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and growing large, high-value client portfolios with multi-million-dollar revenue targets.

Desired Qualifications
  • Strong consultative selling capabilities with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed client organizations.
  • Deep understanding of digital media platforms and products.
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of translating client objectives into integrated, multi-platform commercial solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Background in integrated sponsorships, branded content, or long-term partnership development.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise pricing, packaging, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Exposure to mentoring or developing high-potential commercial talent.
  • Market experience and relationships within the financial sector.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we'd love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
