Job description

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group.  Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.  We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.

Position Highlights –

  • Join our growing Neuroscience department, with our Neurointerventional team consisting of 2 MD’s as well as strong clerical support staff.
  • Working collaboratively with our neuro Cath Lab team and neuro endovascular surgeons to see patients for a variety of neuro endovascular interventions including thrombectomy (stroke), cerebral aneurism treatments.
  • Candidates will see patients in the hospital, clinic and participate in procedures.
  • As an academic rich environment, candidates can participate in both weekly medical grand rounds and monthly Neurological grand rounds.
  • This is a full-time position. Hours: 7am – 4pm Monday-Friday. No nights, call, or weekends.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be BE/BC as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for Neurosurgery. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential.

 

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range.  Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.  Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees.

Neurointerventional AP: $134,415 - $170,260
