Perry Green Valley Nursing Facility is seeking an Part-Time Weekend RN to join our growing team! Registered nurses (orย RNs) work closely with supervising physicians to assess and monitor patientsโ€™ needs. They ensure that treatment and care are conducted according to the procedures of the facility, as well as administer medications and perform other related tasks.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Assess clientsโ€™ condition during every visit and trackย any observations
  • Take and record measurements of vital signs such asย blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by the clientโ€™sย physician
  • Dress or redress open wounds and assess progressย of healing
  • Continuously educate clients, their families andย other caretakers on proper home health careย strategies and procedures
  • Provide palliative care as needed to keep the clientย comfortable
  • Make recommendations for devices or tools thatย might improve the clientโ€™s quality of life
  • Listen to clients and be prepared to respond toย concerns or requests

Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • OK RN Licenseย 
  • Graduate from Licensed Nursing Schoolย 
  • Nursing experience preferredย 
  • Current nursing license in the state
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association)ย Certification
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and with directions
  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor
