Maintenance Machine Repair Specialist 1 (Days)

  • Pay: $27 - $32 per hour; Starting pay will be determined by skills and experience
  • Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

JOB SUMMARY: As the Maintenance Machine Repair Specialist, you'll be troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance of automated woodworking machinery including, but not limited to: CNC, saws, conveyors, finishing equipment, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and hydraulic systems
  • Completing maintenance requests and assigned work orders in a timely fashion
  • Assisting in new machinery implementation; including line setup, dust collection installation, plumbing, wiring, and operator training
  • Performing facility maintenance of steel siding/roofs, overhead doors, loading docks, bathrooms, offices, lighting, etc.
  • Repairing and maintaining lawn mowers, skid loaders and heavy equipment
  • Assisting in welding/ fabricating custom parts and machinery
  • Assisting in production areas when needed
  • Snow removal during the winter months; landscaping/ grounds keeping during the summer months

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT:

  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve under little to no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Foundational electrical knowledge of AC, DC, and Servo systems
  • PLC programming experience preferred
  • Have the drive to develop technical knowledge and comprehension of production machinery
