Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed patient evaluations that include reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to both patients and their families to foster understanding and involvement in goal-setting.
  • Implement treatment protocols with precision, adapting techniques based on patient responses and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, referring to specialists when necessary and adjusting care plans in response to patient progress or complications.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring a detailed account of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet productivity standards, and maintain an organized schedule while participating in community engagement to promote clinic services.
  • Contribute proactively to departmental goals, understanding and following governmental and accreditation regulations in all aspects of care.

  • Enhance patient experiences by advocating for access and adapting care approaches to meet diverse patient needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient setting, you will primarily serve adult and geriatric populations facing various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. From post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management, the diversity of our patient cases provides an engaging and challenging work experience where you can truly make a difference in people's lives.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Physical Therapy license as required by the state of Virginia.
  • Current certification in CPR by the American Heart Association as a BLS for Healthcare Providers.
