About TRINCOS

TRINCOS is an e-commerce and enterprise procurement platform focused on IT hardware, electronics, and infrastructure products. The company supports customers with technology sourcing across categories such as laptops, desktops, routers, accessories, enterprise servers, networking equipment, storage systems, data center hardware, and business IT devices. TRINCOS also supports urgent procurement, bulk hardware sourcing, custom enterprise quotes, and project-based infrastructure deployment.

We are looking for a commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing, purchasing, pricing support, and supplier strategy for hardware and software products sold through the TRINCOS e-commerce platform.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, negotiating, and managing the supply of IT hardware, electronics, software products, and related technology solutions for resale on TRINCOS.com.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. The successful candidate will not only manage day-to-day purchasing but also make commercial decisions that directly influence product availability, pricing competitiveness, margin performance, stock planning, supplier relationships, and category growth.

The role requires strong market knowledge, vendor management experience, commercial judgment, and the ability to build a reliable procurement operation that supports both online retail sales and enterprise procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Sourcing & Procurement

Identify and procure hardware, software, electronics, and IT infrastructure products suitable for sale on the TRINCOS e-commerce platform.

Source products across categories including laptops, desktops, monitors, networking equipment, servers, storage, printers, peripherals, accessories, operating systems, software licenses, and enterprise IT hardware.

Build a strong supplier base covering distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers, resellers, and authorized channel partners.

Source products for standard online listings as well as custom enterprise, bulk, and urgent procurement requirements.

Ensure all products sourced are genuine, high-quality, commercially viable, and aligned with customer demand.

Track market availability, product lifecycle changes, end-of-life notices, replacement models, and new product launches.

2. Supplier & Vendor Management

Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, distributors, OEMs, and software vendors.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit limits, lead times, warranty terms, return policies, and volume discounts.

Evaluate supplier performance based on price competitiveness, availability, delivery speed, reliability, warranty support, and responsiveness.

Establish preferred supplier agreements where commercially beneficial.

Maintain supplier records, pricing files, product catalogs, warranty details, and procurement documentation.

Resolve supplier-related issues including delayed shipments, incorrect SKUs, pricing disputes, damaged goods, and warranty claims.

3. Commercial & Strategic Decision-Making

Make strategic buying decisions based on demand, margin, stock movement, pricing trends, and market opportunities.

Recommend which products should be listed, promoted, bundled, discontinued, or prioritized for procurement.

Work closely with leadership to define procurement strategy for key categories.

Identify high-margin, fast-moving, and strategically important product lines.

Support pricing strategy by providing accurate cost data, market insights, supplier pricing, and competitor benchmarks.

Balance stock availability with working capital efficiency to avoid overstocking, dead stock, and missed sales opportunities.

Support expansion into new product categories, software solutions, and enterprise IT offerings.

4. E-Commerce Product Availability & Catalog Support

Ensure the e-commerce platform has accurate, competitive, and available products for sale.

Work with the e-commerce, content, and operations teams to provide product information, specifications, images, part numbers, warranty terms, stock status, and pricing inputs.

Ensure product listings reflect correct SKUs, manufacturer part numbers, compatibility details, and technical specifications.

Support creation of product bundles, category collections, and promotional offers.

Monitor product availability and coordinate with suppliers to update stock and lead-time information.

Identify gaps in the online catalog and recommend new products to improve customer choice and conversion.

5. Cost Control, Pricing & Margin Management

Negotiate the best possible purchase prices while maintaining product quality and supplier reliability.

Analyze landed costs, shipping costs, taxes, duties, currency impact, platform fees, and warranty costs.

Support selling price decisions by calculating procurement cost, target margin, market price, and competitor pricing.

Maintain healthy gross margins across product categories.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction through supplier consolidation, volume purchasing, alternative sourcing, and improved payment terms.

Provide regular reports on procurement savings, supplier pricing trends, margin risks, and cost improvement opportunities.

6. Bulk Procurement & Enterprise Requirements

Support enterprise customers requiring bulk procurement, custom quotes, urgent hardware sourcing, or infrastructure deployment support.

TRINCOS positions itself around enterprise-scale procurement, urgent IT hardware sourcing, bulk purchasing, custom infrastructure quotes, and project deployment procurement, so this role must be able to support both online store inventory and B2B customer requirements.

Prepare sourcing plans for large-volume requirements.

Validate availability, pricing, lead times, warranty terms, and delivery feasibility for bulk orders.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to produce accurate procurement inputs for enterprise quotes.

Support phased procurement planning for multi-site rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and customer-specific projects.

Identify suppliers capable of handling urgent, high-volume, or specialized IT requirements.

7. Inventory Planning & Demand Forecasting

Work with sales, e-commerce, and operations teams to forecast product demand.

Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and seasonal product trends.

Recommend minimum stock levels for key products.

Plan procurement cycles to ensure availability of high-demand products.

Reduce stockouts, delayed fulfillment, and lost sales caused by supplier gaps.

Identify dead stock risks and recommend clearance, bundling, promotional, or liquidation strategies.

Support stock planning for promotional campaigns, peak sales periods, and enterprise projects.

8. Software Procurement & Licensing

Source software products suitable for e-commerce and business customers, including operating systems, productivity software, security software, backup software, and licensing solutions.

Work with authorized software distributors and vendors to ensure proper licensing compliance.

Understand licensing models such as perpetual licenses, subscriptions, OEM licensing, volume licensing, cloud subscriptions, and enterprise agreements.

Ensure software products sold on the platform comply with vendor rules, regional restrictions, and activation requirements.

Provide accurate licensing information to sales, customer support, and e-commerce teams.
