Job Summary:
Gotion Inc., a leading innovator in battery cell manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Cell Production Manager to oversee our production operations in Manteno, IL. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in manufacturing production management to drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and achieve production goals. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Management:
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet deadlines and production targets.
    • Monitor and manage production progress, quality metrics, and costs to improve overall efficiency.
    • Optimize workflows through lean manufacturing practices and reduce production waste.
  2. Equipment and Process Oversight:
    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of production equipment to ensure consistent performance.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement smart manufacturing techniques where applicable.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Build, train, and manage a high-performing production team.
    • Evaluate team performance regularly and foster a collaborative work environment.
